SuisseID is the first secured electronic identity proof in Switzerland. It allows a secured authentication, and to legally sign documents electronically.

Our reporting solution iCockpit is now compatible with an authentication using SuisseID, which brings the following advantages:

• easy authentication, without typing a login and a password
• highest security level, using a strong authentication, and giving a warranty about the identity of the people connecting to the application

iCockpit is thus one of the first reporting solutions compatible with SuisseID.

Connect-i partnership with belgian firm Dokeos

Gartner publishes survey about usage of open source software

According to analysts at Gartner, 85% of companies are already using open-source software, with most of the remaining 15 percent expecting to do so within the next year. Gartner conducted its survey of 274 end-user organizations across Asia, Europe and North American in May and June 2008.

Respondents to the survey pointed to cost as a prime motivator for their adoption of open source. Some also suggested open source software provides some protection against single-vendor lock-in and offers fast time to market.
